"Super Fun If You Enjoy Human Traffic Jams"
It was so packed that I mostly got to admire the backs of other people’s heads. Really relaxing stuff. I barely saw anything, and instead of being fun, it felt more like I paid to be stressed out in a crowd.

"Heads up: the cafe is disappointing"
Just a warning for anyone planning a visit to Fleet Science, especially with kids: don’t count on the cafe for a solid lunch. We stopped in hoping to grab something quick, but the options were really limited, the prices felt too high for what you get, and most of the snacks were basic. The exhibits were enjoyable, but the food situation was a letdown. We ended up leaving to eat somewhere else, so I’d recommend eating beforehand or planning to go somewhere nearby after.

"Not Much to See"
I went in hoping there’d be a bit more to explore, but after walking around for a while, a lot of the exhibits started to feel similar. Nothing really stood out to me, and I found myself getting bored sooner than I expected
"Didn’t feel very family-friendly to us"
As a parent, I was hoping this would be an easy, fun outing for the kids, but they got bored quickly. It just didn’t feel all that welcoming for families, and there wasn’t much that kept them interested.

"Clean and Well Kept Overall"
I visited the Fleet Science Center and was grateful for how clean and taken care of everything felt. The floors, exhibits, and bathrooms all seemed well maintained, which made the whole visit feel comfortable and easy.
The only thing I noticed was a couple of messy tables in one area, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars for cleanliness and appreciate the effort that goes into keeping the place looking nice.

"Not as interactive as they made it sound"
I was disappointed. They make a lot of vague promises about it being this fun, hands-on interactive experience, but a bunch of the exhibits either didn’t work or felt really worn out. A few screens froze on us, and some of the buttons just did absolutely nothing. The staff were friendly, which I appreciated, but that didn’t really make up for how frustrating it was, especially considering the price. I wouldn’t go back.

"The staff was nice and did help me..."
The staff was nice and did help me out, but the replies took longer than I expected. Not a huge issue, just kind of made the whole thing drag a bit...

"I was excited to try the IMAX dome..."
I was excited to try the IMAX dome, but it ended up being kind of a letdown. The screen looked blurry most of the time, and the seats were not comfortable at all. I kept shifting around instead of enjoying the movie. Just left feeling disappointed.

"The location just wasn’t convenient for..."
The location just wasn’t convenient for me. It took longer than I expected to get there, and then parking was a pain too. Maybe it’s fine if you live closer, but for me it felt like way too much effort, even though I guess the place itself wasn’t really the issue.

"I bought tickets through fleetscience.org thinking it..."
I bought tickets through fleetscience.org thinking it would be a bigger day out, but it felt kind of underwhelming. Maybe I went at the wrong time or mixed up what was happening when, because I kept feeling like I’d missed the better parts somehow. A few things were okay, but for the price, I left more annoyed than impressed. I wouldn’t pay that much again...

"Parking was sorta a hassle"
I had a hard time finding parking anywhere nearby, which made the visit sorta frustrating.

"Right from the start, my first impression..."
Right from the start, my first impression was that this wasn’t going to have much depth, and unfortunately it kind of stayed that way. I was hoping for more useful science learning material, but most of it felt basic and surface-level. It might be fine if you just want a quick overview, but I didn’t feel like it actually helped me understand anything better. By the end, I felt like I hadn’t gotten much out of it.

"Really fun science camp for the kids"
My kids had, well, they had a really good time at this science camp. They came home excited and talking about what they did, which was great to see.

"membership perks didn't feel worth it"
i signed up expecting the membership perks to add a little more value, but they felt underwhelming for the price. not terrible, just not really worth keeping for me.
"Gift shop was disappointing"
the gift shop at Fleet Science was a letdown for me. A lot of the items felt kind of cheap, but the prices were still high for what they were. Some of the toys looked like the same stuff you can find online for way less.
I was hoping to pick up a fun science-themed gift, but I ended up leaving empty-handed. The whole area felt a bit messy and just not really worth spending money in

"Fun hands-on activities, but felt a little rushed"
I took my kids for the hands-on activities, and they definitely had fun with some of the stations. The build-and-experiment type areas were the biggest hit and kept them busy for a while.
A few stations weren’t working that well or had missing pieces, which was frustrating since that was the main reason we went. It also got crowded quickly, so I felt a little pressured to keep moving along instead of letting the kids take their time.
Overall, it was okay. Not a bad visit, but not amazing either. I’d say it’s good for a short stop, I just wish more of the activities were in better shape.

"Not great with a screen reader"
I tried booking tickets online, but the site was frustrating with my screen reader. The menus kept jumping around, a few buttons weren’t labeled, and I got stuck while tabbing through with the keyboard. I ended up giving up and calling to book instead. If you use a screen reader, I’d suggest going straight to the phone option for now to save yourself the hassle.
